Environmental policy

Environmental Balance

IRON Pump has since the financial year 1997/98 worked out a ‘green balance’.

The green balance reports the annual consumption of raw materials and energy as well as the emission and waste from the production and daily operation of the company.

ISO 14001 Environmental System Certificate

From April 2000 the environmental management system of IRON Pump has been certified according to DS/EN ISO 14001:1996.

The management system has been recertified in April 2006 according to DS/EN ISO 14001:2004

Environmental Policy of IRON Pump

The purpose of the environmental policy is clearly to indicate to the employees as well as to any stake holders that IRON Pump aims at a high environmental level.

The environmental level includes internal as well as external environments, defined from current law for the activities of the company.

The environmental policy is valid for the entire company IRON Pump A/S

According to commercial aims and our attitude of management IRON endeavours :

1. to develop and construct our products considering the environmental conditions.
2. currently to improve the conditions of production and organisation which might stress the internal and external environment, by :
   • applying environmental processes
   • exploiting most utmost the raw materials
   • decreasing the emission from the processes of the company.
3. to meet any demands and decisions from Danish authorities (national and local)
